The “Rock You Like a HurriCAN” “can-sculpture” came out on top in three categories for the Canstruction® Santa Fe 2018 awards, presented by AIA Santa Fe at Santa Fe Place Mall on Friday, June 14.

A judges’ panel awarded highest scores to “Rock You Like a HurriCAN,” built by team Studio Southwest Architects in the following categories: Structural Ingenuity, Best Original Design and Best Meal. The Best Use of Labels Award went to “RockCAN Under the Sea,” built by team D/P/S, Jaynes, and Century Sign Builders. The People’s Choice Award went to “RockCAN Under the Sea.”
