JOB SUMMARY:
As a food bank, The Food Depot’s primary role is to provide food to a network of nonprofit partners across nine counties in northern New Mexico. The Food Depot acquires food from a variety of sources–local donations, the Feeding America network, wholesale purchase, and USDA commodities–and provides that food to other nonprofits who provide hunger relief. The Food Depot works with more than 100 nonprofits in its service area–food pantries, shelters, senior centers, after-school programs, and meal programs.

The Food Depot is now serving as both northern New Mexico’s only food bank as well as one of its largest food pantries. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with a public service minded organization that prioritizes learning, personal accountability, excellence, and team work,
