JOB TITLE: Development Coordinator, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Development Director
SUPERVISES: None
SALARY RANGE: $20.00-$32.00/Hour
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining donor database and providing support to Development Director

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support functions for Development Director
Maintains donor database including tracking and data entry of all donations; generating all reports and letters of appreciation; creating new fields and campaigns; updating donor information and mailing preferences at donor’s request; tracking donor touches
Manage online donations including but not limited to daily processing, reoccurring donations and emails, appreciation to donors who increase their monthly gifts
Processing donations taken over the phone or in person; through ACH, including but not limited to data entry of donation, letters of appreciation, and notifying accountant of gifts
Managing matching donor requests and donations of stock including but not limited to data entry of donations, letters of appreciation and notifying accountant of gifts
Tracking of all in-kind donations including but not limited to working with staff to complete forms when donations arrive, identifying the value of the gift, sending letters of appreciation and notifying accountant of the donation
Supporting direct mail campaigns by providing the information and reports needed to process the campaigns, and using their mail reports to update donor information
Assists in preparation of grant proposals and reports; execution of special events and promotions
Supervises office volunteers, when appropriate
Contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests
Complies with all The Food Depot policies, procedures and systems
Is consistently at work and on time
Performs related duties as required or assigned; assists other departments as requested; may work evenings and weekends, as needed

Qualifications
5 year of general office experience; nonprofit experience preferred
Knowledge of Salesforce preferred; database experience required
Must be computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of The Food Depot
Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player; must be able to effectively communicate and interact with coworkers, managers and customers; ability to effectively communicate problems and issues
Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
Must be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks in an office/warehouse environment
Must be able to work independently of as well as collectively with other staff members
Must be able to use general office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners

Physical Environment
Employee will spend 80% of the time working at a stationary computer terminal, 10% talking on the telephone, and 10% interfacing with coworkers.
