…so much hunger in Northern New Mexico!

The greater Santa Fe area was incredibly generous this year with donations for the 26th annual Stamp Out Hunger. Donations collected for this annual, nation-wide food drive totaled the equivalent of 22,072 meals.

The amount collected increased by more than 11,000 pounds than in 2017. The food donations are distributed locally in The Food Depot’s service area — with more than 145 nonprofit agencies within nine counties in Northern New Mexico. Thank you to all that participated in the country’s largest single-day food drive.

Special thanks to the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 989 Santa Fe and rural carriers for their participation again this year. The Santa Fe Association of REALTORS® sponsored this year’s bags for food collection.
