Court-Ordered Community Service at The Food Depot

Individuals may complete court-ordered community service hours at The Food Depot. Anyone interested in completing their hours at The Food Depot must first fill out an application and submit the application.

How to complete your community service hours

Submit your Application

Anyone interested in completing community service hours must complete an application. Submit your completed paperwork by email or in person at The Food Depot. You can not start your hours before paperwork is reviewed.

Spend Time at our Warehouse

The Food Depot warehouse is open Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Each day, you may choose how many hours to complete. Hours available for community service include
  • Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Exceptions can be made to this schedule at the discretion of the Volunteer Manager.

    Typical duties include light cleaning and bundling our cardboard using the compressor machine.

    Every person must sign in and out of The Food Depot each day. Failure to sign in /out may dismiss your hours for the day.

    Finish Required Hours

    After completing your required hours, a staff member will sign off on your time and fill out any required court documents.
