Your time and talents make a difference. Apply to become a volunteer on our website and lend a helping hand at the food distribution or with assorted jobs in the warehouse, including the front desk, packing pantry bags, sorting food, and other tasks that make it possible to achieve our mission.
Food and Equipment Donations
Personal food donations are accepted at our warehouse during business hours. Donations of large equipment such as refrigerators, shelving, etc. can also be arranged for pick up. All large donations must be discussed with The Food Depot staff. Please contact us to speak with a staff member about possible donations.

The Food Depot solicits and accepts gifts for purposes that will help the organization further and fulfill its mission. The Food Depot is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS, EIN# 85-0416803. The Food Depot urges all prospective donors to seek the assistance of personal, legal and financial advisors in matters related to their gifts, including the resulting tax and estate planning consequences.

Food and Equipment Donations
Personal food donations are accepted at our warehouse during business hours. The Food Depot accepts donations of undamaged, unopened, shelf-stable pantry items. Donations of large equipment such as refrigerators, shelving, etc. can also be arranged for pick up. All large donations must be discussed with The Food Depot staff. Please call the main telephone line at 505-471-1633 to speak with a staff member about possible donations.

There are so many worthy charitable organizations in Santa Fe, but the one closest to our hearts is the Food Depot. That there are still so many of our neighbors, so many children, who do worry about that meal and future ones is impossible to ignore. The wonderful people at the Food Depot and their volunteers and supporters help to provide nutrition and some assurance that this basic human need will be met. It is hard for us to imagine many more significant endeavors.
