Hunger Action Month

Men and women smile and hold food products. The words "Hunger Action Month" appear across the screen.

Everyone needs nutritious food to thrive, and in every community in America, people are working hard to provide for themselves and their families.

With 1 in 8 New Mexicans experiencing food insecurity, The Food Depot is busier than ever. In fact, 80% food banks reported either increased or steady demand for emergency food services in June 2023.

To support The Food Depot, you can get involved during Hunger Action Month by listening, acting and inviting others to speak up about ways to end hunger.

When you support The Food Depot, Northern New Mexico’s Food Bank, you support our own food distribution programs and our dynamic network of 70+ nonprofit partner agencies who distribute food across our nine county service area.
