What is Neighbor to Neighbor?
Neighbor to Neighbor is the largest annual fundraiser for The Food Depot. During this friendly competition, neighborhoods, businesses, and community groups compete to raise the most money for hunger relief in Northern New Mexico. Started 14 years ago as a food drive, this volunteer-led event raised almost $700,000 in 2025!
Teams compete from June 1st to August 31st. In 2026, join us once again to make a difference as part of the Neighbor to Neighbor fund drive. Your group’s time and efforts will provide essential funds to The Food Depot as they work to end hunger. Within their nine county service area, approximately 43,000 people, including 12,000 children, do not have consistent access to healthy food. Just $1 raised during Neighbor to Neighbor can provide up to 4 meals through The Food Depot’s programs.
